PDR are delighted to have exchanged contracts with Network homes to build and deliver Premier Place, a brand new residential development which will bring 122 new homes to Edgware, Barnet.
PDR, who was appointed alongside the Harris Partnership, began work to transform the former retail car park in the Spring and are due to complete by September 2020. The scheme will have four blocks of apartments ranging from four to 17 storeys in height, with 76 car parking spaces. The homes will be a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments.
The fantastic town centre location is in walking distance of many amenities such as the Broadwalk Shopping Centre, supermarkets, restaurants and a gym. It is also just four minutes away from Edgware Station which provides links to Central London.
Edgware is included as one of the 35 major town centres in the London Plan delivered by the Mayor of London and the Greater London Authority (GLA). The plan aims to coordinate the development of London’s network of town centres and PDR are pleased to be working on affordable homes that will contribute towards this.
Paul Dransfield, Managing Director at PDR said ‘PDR have worked with Network Homes for over a year to secure an agreement for this landmark project in the centre of Edgware. The 122 new affordable homes represent our continued progress with housing providers in Greater London to help deliver affordable homes.’
David Gooch, Commercial Director at Network Homes said ‘We’re excited to be working with PDR Construction to deliver this extremely well-connected scheme in such a great location. Premier Place will provide much needed affordable homes to residents of the London Borough of Barnet.’
