PDR was selected to complete this D&B project of 5 Light Industrial Units:
- Unit 1 – 20,333 sq ft
- Unit 2 – 37,405 sq ft
- Unit 3 – 38,510 sq ft
- Unit 4 – 59,987 sq ft
- Unit 5 – 34,153 sq ft
Each unit contained integral 2 storey offices with associated car parking, service years, drainage, and landscaping with the development providing a total capacity of 170,500 sq ft of warehousing and 19,500 sq ft of office space.
All units were portal steel framed, clad with insulated profiled colour coated steel along with steel sheets to the roof, symphonic drainage, aluminium windows and floors. Each had various configurations of loading bays and/or dock levellers and concrete lorry parks.
Hard landscaping included drainage, service connections, external lighting, perimeter fencing, staff car parking, cycle shelters as well as soft landscaping. PDR also constructed the main road onto the industrial park.
All units achieved an air test rating of under 2m3/hr/m2 with the scheme achieving a BREEAM Very Good rating.
