Office and Retail Development, St Mary’s Street, Penistone

This gateway site to the town created when the new Tesco site was built generated several challenges not least the level difference across the plot.

The site was designed with a split level and created with a 6 m retaining wall to the full length.

This created a lower ground floor for retail and upper floor for office space.

The conservation area site features oak crook roof, stone facades and features, sash windows and slate roofs built around a steel and concrete frame.
