Premier Inn, South Bay, Scarborough

This former petrol filling station and garage site was cleared in the centre of Scarborough’s  South Bay area to make way for a new 74 bed Premier Inn with restaurants and bar.

With a main road frontage and built up to existing structures, the hotel was built with insitu concrete and a timber frame clad with a brick/stone façade.

As part of the scheme a Brewers Fayre was also constructed to the side of the hotel.

The building was awarded an LABC North and East Yorkshire Building Excellence Award.
